This cheapest ever fare from Qantas allows you to visit Downunder via the Far East or North America - Basically at certain times of the year mainly low and shoulder seasons ie the fares below in red) allow up to 6 sectors within Australia or New Zealand. But you must book by 30th November, and the sectors vary in cost depending where you travel to and from ie Travel within a zone at £25 cost, or between zones at £50 cost plus taxes. Australia Stopovers:
Basically if you're going to Australia you're allowed 1 stop in each direction in Asia at Bangkok, Singapore, Hong Kong, Mumbai, or Tokyo.
New Zealand Stopovers:
Basically if you're going to New Zealand via the USA, you're allowed 1 stop in each direction in the USA at New York, Los Angeles or San Francisco.

This Qantas Special allows passengers to buy domestic flights at certain price levels as follows:
Travel within a zone - £25 cost. Travel between zones - £50 cost plus taxes.
Australia
Zone A – Broome, Perth
Zone B – Alice Springs, Ayers Rock, Darwin
Zone C – Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Gold Coast, Hamilton Island, Hobart, Launceston, Melbourne, Sydney, Townsville, Rockhampton, Mackay, Sunshine Coast, Coffs Harbour, Cairns.
New Zealand
Zone D - Auckland, Christchurch, Wellington, Queenstown.
Important Small Print
- The domestic sectors cannot be used to fly between Australia and New Zealand ie it is not permitted to fly from ZONES A/B/C to ZONE D using the domestic sectors. The applicable New Zealand fare must be charged, rather than charging an Australia fare and adding on a Trans Tasman sector
- If a domestic route requires a transfer then two sectors must be charged eg Sydney via Perth to Broome will be 2 sectors and cost £50 + £25 = £75 plus taxes.
- A maximum of 6 purchased sectors permitted
